Since I began tatting I have discovered many wonderful tatting designers from around the world.  One of them is from Poland.  I watched on social media as every spring she would release a new, giant doily pattern which was incredibly ornate.

Every spring social media would fill with posts and photos of tatters around the world working on that year's spring doily pattern.  I love seeing all these posts and hoped that one day I would participate.

I am excitedt to say that this year, 2025, is the year that I am able to participate!  I couldn't wait to get started and I'm loving every moment of working on it!

For beginners it might seem a bit overwhelming.  Why?  Well these are huge doilies.  This year's doily consists of 18 rounds!  Despite that, I think these doilies are a wonderful thing to take on as a beginner.  There's nothing overly complicated., and working on these doilies can help you practice techniques and work on your tension.
